Riptides

Direction-Right / Surf level intermediate / Best with South swell and SW wind
One of the most popular surf points, which stays true to it’s name Riptides with its strong currents that can sweep you seaward. Located near Guraidhoo, the right hander breaking for 150 meters off to a reef in the middle of the channel, makes it a beautiful experience.

Although close to the island, you can reach it only by boat because of the strong currents. Once you reach the breaks you’ll find long open waves breaking fast perfect for both long and shortboarders.
A speedy righthander, riptides is known for its fun, consistent waves.

Foxy's / Natives

Direction - Left / Surf level- intermediate, advanced
One of the 2 breaks adjacent to Guraidhoo, Foxy’s is a shallow left hander unlike Riptides the fast right hander.
Also known as Lhos raalhu, Foxy’s is very fast and with hollow breaking over the shallow coral bottom.

Producing smaller waves of 2-4ft, with breaks for 100-150 meters with many barrel opportunities, Riptides challenging conditions attract surfers of intermediate to advance skills skilled on the backhand.

Kandooma Right is known for its consistent right hand reef breaks. Kandooma Right is a
popular spot just outside Guraidhoo, offering plenty of barrel waves, and breaking off on a reef stretching for 100 meters. Kandooma Right is one of the more popular spots for experienced surfers looking to catch some fun challenging waves.
